educational qualification
  • Must be a citizen of India and resident of Bihar State.
  • Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks from any recognized university. Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ EBC/ BC/ Differently abled/ Female and EWS will be given a relaxation of 5% in minimum prescribed marks. The degree of Alim obtained from Maulana Mazharul Haque Arabic and Persian University, Patna / Bihar State Madrasa Education Board and Shastri degree from Kameshwar Singh Darbhanga Sanskrit University will be treated as equivalent to graduation.
  • Qualified D.El.Ed/ BT/ B.Ed./BAEd./B.Sc.Ed/ BLEd.
  • Teachers appointed on or after the year 2012 are required to pass the Eligible Teacher Eligibility Test and teachers appointed before 2012 must have passed the qualifying examination.
