The technical committee of the General Directorate of Investment Enterprises of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism examined the land of the former Ahmet Zeki Atalay Primary School building in the Alaplı District of Zonguldak, which was planned to be built and demolished in the past months. Governor Vedat Yılmaz pointed out that the construction of a new service building was on the agenda in the area where the former Ahmet Zeki Atalay Primary School building, which was demolished because it was not earthquake resistant, was on the agenda and said: Considering that it would be more appropriate to build the Alaplı Cultural Center in the area, it was allocated to the Special Provincial Administration of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.Today, the Ministry delegation carried out investigations.This area includes conferences, theaters, a performance hall for at least 300 people, exhibition and fue area, art workshops, Studies have begun on the construction of a multi-capacity cultural center with folklore, music, painting, cultural activities, practice classes, public library service area, educational venues, cafeteria, management units. with Stating that he acted very sensitively for the development of the project, Governor Yılmaz said, “We conveyed to the authorities that the application area in the project should be utilized to the maximum, and a spacious building that is architecturally manifest and suitable for multi-capacity use should be built. On behalf of our district, I would like to thank the Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, who started working with his instructions on the construction of a Cultural Center in our district, and Zeki Yiğit, the President of the Council of State, who provided follow-up and support at every stage of the construction of this project. I believe that the Alaplı Cultural Center to be built will bring a new face to the social life of our district as an integrated facility where social, cultural and educational activities are carried out together.
